WVC Drama Department presents two one-act comedies

The Wenatchee Valley College Drama department presents "The Imaginary Invalid" and "A Mad Breakfast," two one-act comedies, on March 1 and 2, and March 8 and 9, at 8 p.m in the campus theater on the Wenatchee campus.

"The Imaginary Invalid," by Moliere, is about the wealthy Argan, a household hypochondriac who fears he's contracted every disease imaginable. Unfortunately, a pack of quacks is more than happy to (mis)treat him. Can Argan find the cure for what ails him and bankroll his medical bills by marrying his daughter to a doctor? The answer will leave you in stitches.

"A Mad Breakfast," by Isabel McReynolds Gray, is a hilarious farce dealing with what happens when Jones and Miss Brown, practical jokers, tell each of the guests at their boarding house that Mr. Long, a wealthy visitor, is especially interested in their individual hobbies. Long is told the household is an insane asylum. The results are a riot.

General admission is $8, students and seniors are $3, and children 12 and under are free.
